The Neil Britton Gallery will be hosting this juried exhibition for CDA members during the Fall 2022 Semester from August to December opening reception Sunday, Sept. 11 from 2:00-4:00pm. The exhibition is open to all current CDA members; this is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what is happening on the local ceramic scene.
You may submit up to 5 pieces, but the number of pieces accepted will depend on available space. Potters consider submitting a table place setting, a set of bowls, a set of mugs, sugar & creamer set, vases, etc. Sculptors you need NO direction! Please DO consider entering wall pieces. Take into consideration the theme, make a series & run with it!!!
Awards: $ 250 first place, $150 second place, $75 third place and three honorable mentions.
Juror: Steve Palmer, BFA, Ceramic Instructor at City Clay Charlottesville, VA
Entry Requirements: Works must be predominately ceramic, NOT shown before in a CDA Exhibition and created within the last three years. Either hanging or pedestal-ready work is acceptable. No substitutions or extractions will be allowed once work is selected. There is a 50lb weight limit on hanging pieces. Accepted works must remain for the duration of the show.
Submission: Artists may submit 3 digital images of each piece and up to 5 individual works. Digital Images: Sized under 2MB, 300 dpi, approximately 6” for the longest side, JPEG format. Labeling images: last name, title, image number (ex: Smith_Title_1.jpg: Smith_Title_2.jpg). Email images to: Patricia Isenhour: IsenhourArt@Outlook.com. (757-305-7292). Images must be received by email midnight, August 7th. Please include your contact information.
Sales: The gallery will allow artist to arrange sales transaction with the buyer with no commission, but in the spirit of generosity you may consider giving a donation to the gallery.

Deadline: August 7th, 2022 (midnight) for uploading images & email scanned entry form, images and entry fee $25. Mailed entry must be received.
Notifications emailed August 17, 2022
Delivery of selected art works: Sunday, August 21st 1-4pm

Opening Reception: Sunday, September 11, 2:00-4:00pm
Exhibit Uninstall: Exact Pick-up Date TBD after Dec 6 – will be notified via email.
